![]() In Safeboot Mode -third party interference extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode. Tried everything on this thread ()-no change other than running well in Recovery Mode. Tried upgrading from Mojave to Catalina-no change. Tried setting up a new account on the Mac-no change. I have a newer and an older MacBook Pro sitting on the same table-both run just fine. This has been going on for months, well before the higher internet demands of late. However, in Recovery Mode Safari runs as it should, very fast. (Note, after upgrading to Catalina, see below) the App Store "highlights" info will load on the left panel but the app-specific info will not load-that area is blank. The App Store app will not display anything either-just a blank frame. Then it happens again on the next page you try to load. It will load 20% or so and then, maybe, after a very long pause (60 seconds or more) it will sometimes suddenly load the page. Safari on my daughter's MacBook Pro is not loading properly. ![]() I am on the most recent release (13.0.1) and all applications mentioned above are up-to-date. I believe the issue started after updating to Ventura. I've booted into Safe Mode and this problem does NOT occur. I've tried turning off wifi and that has no effect. Meanwhile, other applications like Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams have no issues at all. Even some native apps like Quicktime and the Audio MIDI Setup app do the same thing. It opens right up but then hangs on the login page with the spinning pinwheel for several minutes before it logs in and runs. Once it loads the first page, it functions perfectly normally until I quit and re-open it. ![]() For example, I click the Chrome icon from my dock and it quickly opens, but I can't get a webpage to load for several minutes. They open up quickly but then hang for a while before they are functional. Most (but not all) applications on my MacBook Pro take 2-5 minutes to fully load before I can use them. ![]()
